OUR TEACHERS ARE 700-1500 LBS. There is no pushing around these teachers. Our participants will have to step up. If a horse doesn't have a leader, they will become the leader. THEY ARE A PREY ANIMAL. This means their senses are highly astute. They can hear our heartbeat and they will react to the slightest changes within a team - allowing facilitators to find those "teachable moments." THEY ARE JUST LIKE US - SORT OF. Horses have a lot to teach people, but there are also many similarities. Herds to horses are like teams to people. Horses require a leader that they trust and respect, just like we require in the workplace, classroom, and in our own lives. These common traits give us, the facilitators, the ability to parallel everything that happens in the arena back to real life so that what you learn really sticks! Quite simply, the horse does the teaching; facilitators are there to offer explanation and provide guidance as participants work through the solution and find success. Partnering with horses creates an experience participants can refer to and take with them long after they leave the arena. LASTING CHANGE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T FOOL THE TEACHER! Our one of a kind BuildingBlock™ Certified Equine Assisted Learning program uses four-legged teachers to help participants learn the power and strength of non-verbal communication and change within themselves. This is a powerful journey of teaching, learning and understanding; much more than just a fun day out.

Do you learn when you're in your comfort zone? Not likely. This is an opportunity to overcome your fears or preconceived notions. Some people who have attended our programs and workshops have started out petrified, but by the end... they have learned more about themselves and overcome their fears. Knowing you're allergic is half the battle! Just be sure to take an antihistamine before you come. We also have allergy medication on site.

The only required clothing is closed toed shoes for safety while working around the horses. Other than that, just dress for the weather and wear clothes that you are not afraid to get a little dusty in!

Yes! We are certified through Equine Connection - The Academy of Equine Assisted Learning, a leading organization in Equine Assisted Learning. We also carry extensive insurance for ourselves and those who attend our programs.

At Partners For Success, our educational and experiential skills programs are facilitated within a group format and focuses on ground activities that are objectively driven rather than horseback riding. This allows for the most authentic and beneficial experience, where the horse gets to be in its natural state, and can communicate the most effectively with the participants, allowing for experiential learning to take place.
